UFC BJJ Opens hits Phoenix this Sunday. The series’ next stop is September 13 at the Phoenix Convention Center, open to boys’ and girls’ youth divisions and men’s and women’s adult brackets at every skill level.

UFC’s BJJ hub calls Phoenix one of the top BJJ tournament stops on the 2026 calendar and says every participant gets a commemorative UFC BJJ Opens T-shirt. On the Opens site, the same date sits under “Next Event — Phoenix! September 13,” with youth, adult, and masters divisions and a blunt pitch: find the next generation of champions.

That pitch comes with a pathway claim the organization puts in plain language — champions compete to earn the right to UFC BJJ — plus male and female brackets, team and individual competitions, and what it calls UFC-standard competition rules built for safety and authenticity. Phoenix is the second city on the published 2026 tour after Las Vegas on August 22–23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The rest of the Opens calendar already stretches into late fall. Fort Lauderdale runs September 26–27 at Tribe Sports Facility as a youth-and-adult, no-gi-only stop. Indianapolis is October 24–25 at Best Choice Fieldhouse. Denver closes the listed run November 21–22 at CoBank Arena at National Western Center.

Eleven days after the Phoenix mats, UFC BJJ 11 lands at Meta Apex on September 24 with Mikey Musumeci against Bryce Mitchell. UFC’s BJJ page lists that card for UFC Fight Pass. For anyone stepping on the Opens mats this weekend, Sunday in Phoenix is the immediate date — register through the Opens site linked from UFC’s BJJ hub.
