Salahdine Parnasse stopped Dan Hooker in the first round of his UFC debut. The French lightweight took the UFC Paris main event at Accor Arena on Saturday, September 5, 2026, by TKO at 2:25 of round one, hurting Hooker to the body and finishing him against the fence in front of a sold-out home crowd.
UFC’s main-card recap frames it as about as good a debut as you could ask for from the 28-year-old. He has now won six straight, all by stoppage. The former KSW two-division champion kept the fight on the feet against the No. 10 ranked Hooker: about halfway through the opening round he landed a body kick, then a flurry of strikes that put Hooker on the canvas. It was a five-round main event on home soil.
The Accor Arena card sold out at 15,687 and grossed $4,365,335, which UFC lists as the highest-grossing event in the venue’s history. Four fighters took Performance of the Night bonuses: Parnasse, Axel Sola, Losene Keita, and Mario Pinto.
In the all-France co-main, Axel Sola knocked out Farès Ziam at 1:40 of round one with a left hand after a short feeling-out stretch. Michael “Venom” Page took a unanimous decision over Nursulton Ruziboev (29-28 across the board) to move to four straight wins and three straight at middleweight. Daniil Donchenko beat Punahele Soriano by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28), his third UFC win and eighth in a row at age 25.
Earlier on the main card, Losene Keita knocked out Muhammad Naimov at 2:54 of round one, and Kurtis Campbell submitted Trevor Peek with a rear-naked choke at 3:07 of round three. On the prelims, undefeated heavyweight Mario Pinto stopped Ryan Spann 55 seconds into round two — another Performance of the Night.
UFC Fight Night: Hooker vs Parnasse ran prelims at 12 p.m. ET and the main card at 3 p.m. ET, streaming on Paramount+ in the United States.
