Pawel Jaworski needed less than two minutes to fold Rafael Lovato Jr. at ONE Fight Night 47.
On Friday, September 4 at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, the 22-year-old Pole finished the four-time BJJ World Champion with a lateral kneebar at 1:51 of their middleweight submission grappling bout. ONE billed Jaworski as an IBJJF No-Gi World Champion; the win was his middleweight debut under the promotion and pushed his career mark to 44-8.
According to ONE’s report, Jaworski climbed to Lovato’s back, stayed attached through a slam, and transitioned into the kneebar that forced the tap. The finish paid a US$50,000 bonus.
Jaworski is already booked for the next big mat stage. ADCC’s updated official competitor list for the 2026 World Championship places him at men’s −88 kg as the Europe Trials 1 qualifier. Worlds run September 12–13 at Tauron Arena in Kraków, Poland.
