Mikey Musumeci defeated UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell by unanimous decision in the featherweight main-event showcase at UFC BJJ 11, held September 24, 2026 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas.

UFC.com’s official results recap, published September 25, said the reigning UFC BJJ bantamweight champion and Mitchell grappled the full 15 minutes before the judges awarded Musumeci the win. Musumeci had agreed not to finish with leglock submissions and instead used them to sweep and improve position. He locked a D’Arce choke that Mitchell escaped, then switched to a power guillotine that also failed. In round three Mitchell power-slammed Musumeci out of a flying triangle; later Musumeci took the back with a body triangle, hunted a rear-naked choke, and transitioned to an armbar while Mitchell stayed compact to the horn.

In the co-main event, UFC BJJ light heavyweight champion Mason Fowler retained his title after his match with Nick Rodriguez was ruled a split draw. UFC.com said Rodriguez finished the third round in mount with a choke that Fowler prevented, and that both athletes appeared surprised when the split draw was announced, with Fowler keeping the belt by the slimmest of margins.

Earlier on the card, former UFC BJJ women’s featherweight champion Aurelie Le Vern beat Rana Willink by unanimous decision, a bounce-back after her title loss to Rebeca Lima at UFC BJJ 7. Jay Rodriguez submitted Kevin Beuhring with an inverted D’Arce choke at 2:54 of round two — the finish he had predicted — and afterward pointed toward Ronaldo Junior’s UFC BJJ middleweight title. Pedro Machado took a unanimous decision over Lucas Norat at light heavyweight, and Jordan Holy defeated Ryan Elgarico by unanimous decision at featherweight.

Two athletes who came through the new UFC BJJ Open series also won on debut. Eighteen-year-old Mason Stritzel, offered a spot after a Chicago Open test event less than two months earlier, submitted Seve Zazueta with a heel hook at 4:06 of round two. Welterweight Daniel Deeder finished Kolby Gonzalez with a Kimura at 2:20 of round three.
