Renato Moicano will face No. 11 ranked contender Tom Nolan in the main event of UFC Fight Night on October 31 at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, after Brian Ortega’s injury removed their lightweight bout from UFC 331.
UFC announced the change on September 14. Due to injury with Brian Ortega, his lightweight bout with Moicano has been removed from the Crypto.com UFC 331 card. Moicano steps into his fourth UFC main event against Nolan, who per UFC is on a five-fight win streak.
As of now, the UFC 331 event page no longer lists Moicano-Ortega. The remaining main card still centers on Joshua Van vs Alexandre Pantoja for the flyweight title, with Arman Tsarukyan vs Mauricio Ruffy, Patricio Pitbull vs Dooho Choi, Gable Steveson vs Sean Sharaf, and Alonzo Menifield vs Iwo Baraniewski also on the main card.
UFC 331: Van vs Pantoja 2 is Saturday, September 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Early Prelims begin at 5pm ET/2pm PT, Prelims at 7pm ET/4pm PT, and the Main Card at 9pm ET/6pm PT, streaming on Paramount+ in the United States.
