Wellington Leal Dias took the Master 7 black-belt light division at the World Master IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2026, topping Evandro Alves Nascimento with bronze going to Daniel Cullen Daly and Phillip Todd Farley on the official IBJJF results board stamped September 5.
FloGrappling, which carried the Las Vegas event live, framed the Gracie Humaita coral belt’s gold as his 20th mundial — a claim that sits with Flo’s reporting, not as a number printed on the IBJJF results page itself. The tournament ran September 3–5 at the Las Vegas Convention Center with more than 50 mats going at once, according to Flo’s wrap.
On the women’s Master 1 black-belt side, Ingridd Alves de Sousa (AGR Jiu-Jitsu) left with double gold: medium-heavy over Margaret Rose Grindatti Lira, then the open class over Christine Anne Martin. Flo’s black-belt roundup matches those finals opponents and calls out the weight-plus-absolute sweep as the Master 1 headline.
Other locked black-belt golds from the same IBJJF board include João Ricardo Bordignon Miyao at Master 1 rooster, Horlando de Jesus Monteiro at Master 1 medium-heavy, Fellipe Andrew Leandro Silva at Master 1 heavy, Jussier Da Silva Vieira at Master 3 light-feather, and Bibiano Fernandes da Silva Neto at Master 4 feather.
Alliance had already stamped the male (223) and female (147) team titles on that final results sheet. The individual black-belt podiums above are the names the mats kept handing out after the team race was decided.
