ONE Championship has named the eight-man field for its 2026 Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix, putting reigning champion Asadula “The Dagestan Ninja” Imangazaliev in with former champions Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Nong-O Hama and a slate of rising contenders for a November tournament.
ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced the lineup on Facebook on Tuesday, September 22. “I am thrilled to announce the greatest world grand prix in history for Muay Thai! Get ready for fireworks in November!” he wrote. “Stay tuned for news on the fights, the brackets, and the grand prize for the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix!”
Brackets and the grand prize have not been released yet. ONE says the field mixes the man currently on top, former ONE World Champions, veterans, and rising stars from four countries, with a prestigious silver strap on the line.
Imangazaliev, the 23-year-old Russian who holds the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship, leads the announcement. Across eight ONE appearances he has scored seven knockout wins, then edged Aslamjon “El Pantera” Ortikov for the vacant title in the main event of The Inner Circle 20. Ortikov is also in the Grand Prix. Before that loss, the Uzbekistani had won 10 straight promotional fights and carried a perfect 24-0 record.
Former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon joins the field looking for the 275th win of his career. The 29-year-old most recently fought Takeru Segawa in a two-bout series. Former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Hama arrives with 268 career wins.
Shimon Yoshinari enters unbeaten across seven outings on the global stage after stopping Suablack Tor Pran49 in round two at ONE SAMURAI 3 earlier this month in Yokohama. Black Panther, a 26-year-old Thai, comes in on a six-fight winning streak.
Rounding out the eight are two teenagers on the rise: 19-year-old Ramadan “The Scorpion” Ondash of Lebanon, who most recently edged Johan Ghazali in July, and 20-year-old Englishman Ubaid “Bad” Hussain, who is 17-0 after an eighth straight win at The Inner Circle 28 that earned him a US$100,000 main-roster contract.
