How Good is Conor McGregor’s Jiu Jitsu?

Conor McGregor Rolling Footage

Pretty damn good it would seem from watching this technical roll with his coach John Kavanagh, Ireland’s first Jiu Jitsu black belt. Conor is a brown belt when this video was shot, and his ground game looks to be 100% legit. Could he stop Kabib? No but neither could anyone else. Make no mistake Conor’s almost as dangerous on the ground as he is on his feet. Although Connor only has one submission victory in his MMA career (Dave Hill by Rear Naked Choke to win the Featherweight belt in Cage Warriors) that’s more a testament to his dominant striking than any lack of ability on the ground. You don’t become the champ champ without having a ground game.
