Johan “Jojo” Ghazali and Diego Paez meet again in flyweight Muay Thai at The Inner Circle 35, ONE’s Asia-primetime card at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok on Friday, October 16, streaming exclusively for subscribers at live.onefc.com.
Their first meeting at ONE Fight Night 32 on June 6, 2025, went the distance inside the same Bangkok ring. Ghazali pressed for three rounds behind heavy combinations; Paez, the Colombian-American Classic Fight Team affiliate, answered with footwork, counters, and spinning strikes. Paez’s precision late earned him a split decision — the first win of his ONE Championship career.
Ghazali, now 19 and training at Bangkok’s Superbon Training Camp, rebuilt with wins over Zakaria El Jamari and Ye Yint Naung before losses this year to Shimon Yoshinari and Ramadan “The Scorpion” Ondash. ONE’s rematch announcement notes his earlier promotional run included five knockout wins and a US$100,000 main roster contract.
Paez, 32, looks to go 2-0 in the rivalry and bounce back from a split-decision loss to Black Panther at ONE Fight Night 42 in April. ONE frames him as a precision-and-timing striker rather than a pure power fighter — the same toolkit that decided the first fight.
