Four fighters left Dana White’s Contender Series Season 10 Week 6 with UFC contracts after an action-heavy night at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas on September 15, 2026.
Mayton Perea, Igor Cavalcanti, Akbar Abdullaev and Luis Hernandez all got the nod from UFC CEO Dana White. The fifth winner of the night, Tyshawn Williams, was not signed — White told him he would get another Contender Series opportunity later this season.
Abdullaev’s night was the highlight reel. The Kyrgyz lightweight knocked out Ednilson Santos with a single punch at 19 seconds of round one. White called him “the greatest talent that’s ever been on this show.”
Per MMA Fighting’s report of the post-fight decisions, the UFC has now signed 28 fighters from Contender Series this season.
