Quentin Pasley closed Dana White’s Contender Series Season 10 Week 5 with a first-round knockout, and four of the night’s five winners left Meta APEX in Las Vegas with UFC contracts.
On September 8, 2026, UFC President and CEO Dana White handed deals to Christian Natividad, Martin Kozak, Isaac Moreno, and Pasley. UFC’s official results report says Season 10’s contract count climbed to 24 after the night.
In the featured light heavyweight bout, Pasley stopped undefeated Arlind Berisha by knockout at 4:41 of Round 1. After a low-blow timeout early, Pasley worked toward a D’Arce choke, then switched to strikes and landed two elbows that knocked Berisha out cold. UFC called it a finish that kept Pasley’s first-round finish rate at 100 percent.
Welterweight Isaac Moreno took a unanimous decision over Reginaldo Junior, 29-28 on all three cards. Moreno’s striking carried the early rounds; Junior dropped him late in Round 1 and spent Round 3 hunting anaconda and D’Arce chokes, plus a late slam, while Moreno answered with a guillotine as time expired.
Middleweight Martin Kozak stopped Christian Echols by TKO (punches) at 1:32 of Round 2. The 24-year-old, six-foot-four Slovak had already dropped Echols with a head kick in Round 1 before a groin uppercut forced a Mike Beltran timeout. In Round 2 he broke Echols down against the fence until Beltran waved it off. UFC lists Kozak at 7-0 after the win.
Bantamweight Apollo Gomes won a unanimous decision over Kwon Won Il, also 29-28 across the board. Kwon, a Contender Series returnee and former ONE Championship title challenger, dropped Gomes twice in Round 1 and hurt him with a body shot. Gomes took Kwon’s back in Round 2 looking for a rear-naked choke, then pushed the pace in Round 3 after a check right hook put Kwon to one knee. Gomes was the night’s only winner not named among the four contract recipients on UFC’s results page.
Flyweight Christian Natividad opened the card with a TKO (body shot) of Colton Loud at 1:10 of Round 1. Entering 9-0 and listed by UFC as the brother of former UFC fighter Kevin Natividad, he answered a Loud body kick with a left hook to the liver that folded Loud and brought Beltran in. UFC called it the second-fastest finish of Natividad’s unblemished 10-fight career.
