Five Contender Series winners earn UFC contracts in Week 4

All five winners walked away with UFC contracts on Week 4 of Dana White’s Contender Series Season 10, lifting the season total to 20 after another full house at Meta APEX in Las Vegas on September 1, 2026.

Ireland’s Adam Darby, Mexico’s Silvestre Sanchez, USA’s Adam Livingston, and Brazilians Gabriel Lorenco and Modestino Rodrigues each earned deals on the Tuesday card, according to UFC.com.

In the featured welterweight bout, Darby stopped Patrick Rivera by TKO (doctor stoppage) at 2:42 of Round 3. After controlling the fight with range and jabbing, Darby forced a doctor check late in the third when referee Kerry Hatley brought the cageside physician in; the fight was waved off. UFC.com reported it as Darby’s seventh straight win and seventh career finish.

Middleweight Modestino Rodrigues needed almost no time: he finished Contender Series returnee Brandon Holmes by TKO (punches) at 0:15 of Round 1, improving to 8-1 with his fifth straight knockout, per the official recap.

At lightweight, Silvestre Sanchez stopped Liam McCracken by TKO (punches) at 2:44 of Round 3 after a back-and-forth scrap, landing a left hook that put McCracken down for the stoppage. Heavyweight Gabriel “The Black Mamba” Lorenco knocked out Charlie Cleveland with an elbow and hammerfists at 2:02 of Round 1.

The night opened at lightweight with Adam Livingston edging Hunter Smith by split decision. The official scores were 29-28, 28-29, 29-28 for Livingston.
