Dana White’s Contender Series moves into Week 8 of Season 10 on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, with five fights at the UFC Meta APEX in Las Vegas and another night of contract chances in front of Dana White and the UFC matchmakers.
Episode 8 airs on Paramount+ at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT. As on every Contender Series Tuesday, White reveals which fighters, if any, leave with an official UFC contract once the five-bout card is done.
The men’s and women’s lineup mixes undefeated prospects with titled regional veterans. Undefeated Moroccan striker Ilias “The Blade” Bulaid (9-0), a six-time NFusion champion out of Fighting Talents with six professional finishes, meets Erick “The Viscount” Visconde (17-3), the LFA featherweight champion and Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt who won that title over five rounds after breaking his hand in the second. Visconde has framed the matchup as a step toward the featherweight division.
In the women’s strawweight bout, undefeated LFA strawweight champion Aieza Bertolso (7-0) of Rio de Janeiro’s KO Squad faces Camila Reynoso (9-1) of Team Martinez in Buenos Aires. Bertolso took the LFA title in Cuiaba in September 2025. Reynoso, 21, reached Contender Series after appearing on The Ultimate Fighter.
Peru’s Ian Escuza (7-0), an undefeated featherweight from Lima’s PMAC Peru, meets Italy’s Luca Borando (9-1) of Aurora MMA in Rome. Borando owns eight finishes and a five-fight knockout streak. In the heavyweight fight, Senegal’s Adama Diop (6-1) of Mantis Martial Arts Center — a former Extreme Fighting Championship and Hexagone MMA heavyweight champion with five knockouts — faces Russia’s Zaurbek Sabanov, 28, of the Valhalla Club in Vladikavkaz.
Closing the card, Loai Abushaar (7-1) of MMA Lab, on a seven-fight finishing streak with six first-round stoppages, meets undefeated English lightweight George Staines (10-0) of Next Generation Liverpool.
