BJJ Escapes
Sometimes when you’re on the bottom your guard is going to get passed and you’ll find yourself under your opponents mount, knee ride, or side control. When this happens you’ll need to have some escapes ready. If you let them stay in top control you’re just asking to be tapped. So make sure you have a least one go to escape for each position and drill it regularly.
And remember, escaping from mount isn’t supposed to be easy. The idea is not get mounted in the first place. So you can’t expect every escape to work every time, especially against a skilled opponent.
