Alexander Volkanovski puts the UFC featherweight title on the line against undefeated No. 1 contender Movsar Evloev at UFC 333 on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
Volkanovski, listed as title holder at 28-4, last retained the belt with a five-round unanimous decision over Diego Lopes at UFC 325 on January 31, 2026. He had reclaimed the strap from Lopes by unanimous decision at UFC 314 in April 2025. UFC’s fighter facts credit him with five successful defenses in his first reign and 11 straight title fights, plus wins in 25 of his last 28.
Evloev enters at 20-0 and ranked No. 1 at featherweight. His most recent win was a five-round majority decision over Lerone Murphy in London on March 21, 2026. Earlier UFC decisions include Aljamain Sterling at UFC 310 and Arnold Allen at UFC 297. UFC lists three of his wins by knockout and four by rear-naked choke.
The co-main is a bantamweight title rematch: champion Petr Yan against Merab Dvalishvili. Yan, 20-5 and listed as title holder, took the belt back from Dvalishvili by five-round unanimous decision at UFC 323 on December 6, 2025, avenging his 2023 loss. Dvalishvili, 21-5 and still ranked No. 1 at bantamweight on his UFC page, had defended the title in 2025 against Cory Sandhagen and Sean O’Malley before that December loss.
