The ADCC Amateur World Championship opens Friday, September 11 at TAURON Arena in Kraków — the same building that hosts the ADCC World Championship on Saturday and Sunday.
ADCC Poland is running the amateur open at Stanisława Lema 7. On the official ADCC event page, the date is locked as 11 September 2026, and the venue is listed as TAURON Arena. The Kraków 2026 host site frames it plainly: an open tournament for athletes from around the world, with the chance to compete in the same arena as the World Championships.
Eligibility is written into the amateur rules. Anyone can enter except competitors who have fought in a pro category, with an exception for masters pro. Experience bands on the ADCC page run beginners (less than two years), intermediate (two to four years), advanced (more than five years), professionals (more than five years, masters only), and a single kids and teens band. Top three in each weight class get medals. Athletes who miss weight are automatically disqualified.
Weigh-ins run in two windows: Thursday, September 10 from 6:00–8:00 p.m., or Friday, September 11 from 7:00–9:00 a.m. Brackets, the competitor list, and the day schedule live on Smoothcomp.
FloGrappling carries the amateur broadcast starting September 11 at 8:00 a.m. UTC, with streams on desktop, mobile, and TV (including Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast, and Apple TV) and archived footage for subscribers afterward. Flo’s Sept. 11 schedule also lists the ADCC World Championships Bracket Reveal Show on the same Friday, ahead of the pro Worlds at Tauron Arena on Sept. 12–13, where Flo has competition beginning at 5 a.m. ET on Saturday.
